Some software products are not compatible with SecureNotebook. The reason for this is either the other software product doesn't confirm to the Windows standards as set by Microsoft or due to the nature of the product it doesn't combine well with encryption software in general.

The overview below is a not a complete listing of incompatible software but a list of products of which we know the are or can be comflicting with SecureNotebook, SecureFolders and SecurePDA.

• Arconis Partition Manager
• PointSec for PC
• Utimaco SafeGuard Easy

In general customers should be suspicous of software in the following categories: partition managers, partition backup software, crash recovery software, multi/dualbootloaders, tools that modify the boot sector (mbr), defragmentation tools and other encryption tools.

SecureFolders

• Utimaco SafeGuard LAN Crypt

In general other encryption software on file/folder level.

SecurePDA

• Pointsec for PDA
• Utimaco SafeGuard PDA

In general other encryption software for PDA's.
