Does SecureNotebook support RAID and/or Dynamic Disks?

SecureNotebook does not inherently support RAID, but has been used successfully on pure hardware based controllers. SecureNotebook does not support software raid, or dynamic disks though. SecureNotebook does not test SecureNotebook software on RAID hardware, and has no diagnostic or recovery tools to repair problems in this environment. With this in mind, we would advise therefore not to use the SecureNotebook software.

There is an new generation of RAID controllers (mostly ATA or SATA) that appear to be hardware RAID controllers but technically they are a combination of hard and software, these RAID controllers are typically not supported by SecureNotebook.
